🏳️‍⚧️Transgender Awareness Week🏳️‍⚧️

Re:searching for 2SLGBTQA+ Health

Transgender Awareness Week, observed annually from November 13 to November 19, is a one-week celebration to foster awareness about the life experiences of transgender and gender non-conforming people, and concludes with the Transgender Day of Remembrance on November 20. November 20 was originally a vigil to honour Rita Hester, a transgender woman killed in 1998. Now, this day represents a time to honour those lives lost to transphobic violence every year.

As researchers, this includes our commitment to making visible the stories and needs of transgender communities in research. In our research team, we dedicate to educating, conducting trans-focused research, and producing evidence for trans communities.
