(Sharing from The 2SLGBTQ+ Youth Health and Homelessness Lab)
Led by Co-Principal Investigators Dr. Alex Abramovich (CAMH) and Dr. Katie MacEntee (UofT).
We invite you to an exclusive film screening event showcasing the experiences and resilience of 2SLGBTQ+ youth through their powerful cellphilms (short videos made on cellphones). These films offer a unique glimpse into their experiences of hidden homelessness, highlighting their strengths and the barriers they navigate to access care and support in Toronto, York Region, and London, Ontario. Following the screening, a panel discussion will explore how we can better support 2SLGBTQ+ youth experiencing hidden homelessness. Held at the inclusive and welcoming space of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) - Arrell Family Foundation Auditorium.
Don’t miss this inspiring event! Let’s come together to foster dialogue, share resources, and celebrate the voices and creativity of 2SLGBTQ+ youth, as we work towards a more inclusive and supportive future.
