On October 4, 2024, the Ontario Native Women’s Association (ONWA) invites all people to join for the Annual Sisters in Spirit Vigil. This day is dedicated to raise awareness and honour Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and 2 Spirit people (MMIWG), calling attention to the urgent need for action to address violence against Indigenous women.

Activities include: Red Dress Wall, Safety Planning, drumming, crafting, and Bannock and Tea.
Participants are encouraged to bring photos of their loved ones and hand drums.
