Lesbian Community
Just like other members of the 2SLGBTQA+ community, lesbians (or those who identify as queer, two-spirit, or women who have sex with women) have specific health concerns. In fact, research indicates that lesbians (and bisexual) women are more likely to report daily smoking and risky drinking habits than heterosexual women, and lesbians are less likely to undergo screening tests, specifically pap tests, mammograms and breast examinations, even when needed.
Lesbians have specific health concerns.
